It certainly took confidence on the trainee's part. I think the issue was that the trainee hadn't appropriately gauged the culture before taking this confident step. Perhaps in some organizations, this would be accepted or even welcomed. But, at this company in particular, that wasn't the case. Thanks for reading, Komail!
